Set in the heart of the Cotswolds established in 1995 the Cotswold Academy provides training in ITEC and BTEC courses. Their team are highly motivated and committed to providing a high standard of delivery to their students. They provide tutoring in small groups resulting in a personal supportive learning environment, working alongside people new to this industry. The Academy also provides on-going training for qualified therapists in their chosen fields. These therapists can develop their existing skills to deliver specialist treatments.
Situated in Thomas Street in the old market town of Cirencester we operate from a Grade II listed building. Our facilities include three training lecture rooms equipped with all the facilities to provide a challenging, positive learning culture. We have a common room for students to enjoy time, eating and getting to know each other and access to a kitchen to make lunches and hot drinks.
The Cotswold Academy having been re launched in October now boasts a fresh, clean image and an easy to navigate website along with an energetic and enthusiastic new Management Team. It has many exciting ideas and future plans including developing our range of courses both within the Complementary therapy, Sports and Business industries. Some of our new courses are ITEC Strapping and Taping, Reflexology refresher, Muscle Energy Technique (MET). Future courses currently in development stage are Upper and Lower Cross Syndrome, Postural Assessment, Shoulder Dysfunction and many more including our Business School Series Business Tool Kit. It supporting our students in growing their clinical expertise and business skills
Our practitioner, CPD and Main Courses are all accredited by ITEC, BTEC and CThA to ensure that students receive outstanding qualifications providing them credibility within the industry. We have small friendly classes, taught by experienced tutors, who are also successful practitioners and focus on delivering high standards of teaching. The team at The Academy are dedicated to supporting students with their professional development. The Academy is well situated in the heart of the Cotswolds with good links to train and bus routes and easy access to the M4 and M5.
