10.30am Join Corinium Museum’s Georgina Hiscock for a series of guided walks around historical Cirencester, each walk will last roughly one hour. This walk will explore the Roman remains of Cirencester and the surviving archaeological monuments of Corinium Dobunnorum, highlighting some of the town’s most important discoveries. Although reference will be made to the town’s Amphitheatre the walk does not include a visit to it.
Cost £5 adult, £4.50 concessions and £2 children. Booking is essential as places are limited. Please wear comfortable footwear suitable for walking and be aware there are no seating opportunities on route. The walks will start promptly from the museum. In the event of adverse weather, the walk may be rescheduled. Please contact the museum for further information.
