12.30pm Evidence from many of the towns of Roman Britain suggests that they were in decline in the 4th century with their public buildings neglected or deserted. Corinium was different; its occupation continued and peaked about 350 AD. Join Dr. Alison Brookes to discover more about this interesting period in Roman Corinium’s history. This is a Festival of British Archaeology Event and links with the national 410 AD celebrations marking the 1600th anniversary of the end of Roman Britain.
